1. Who we are
Silicon Analysts (“we,” “us”) operates siliconanalysts.com — semiconductor cost-modeling tools, market data, and a public data API/MCP server. Contact: contact@siliconanalysts.com.
2. What we collect
Account data. If you sign up, we store your email address and authentication session (via Supabase). Sign-in is passwordless (magic link) or OAuth; we never store a password.
API and MCP request logs. Requests to our public API and MCP server are logged with endpoint or tool name, timestamp, response status and latency, IP address, user agent, and — for authenticated requests — the API key identifier. We use these logs for rate limiting, abuse prevention, service health, and understanding aggregate usage. Request parameters are stored in redacted form. Keyed users can export their own request history via /api/v1/usage.
Site analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand page-level usage (sessions, page views, interaction patterns). These run only in production and are subject to those providers’ own policies.
Email preferences. If you subscribe to our newsletter or alerts, we store your address and send history. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe; unsubscribed addresses are permanently suppressed.
3. What we do NOT do
We do not sell personal data. We do not run third-party advertising. We do not use your queries or account data to train machine-learning models. API keys are stored as salted hashes — the raw key is shown once and cannot be recovered by us.
4. Retention & deletion
Request logs are retained to maintain the service’s historical usage records. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing contact@siliconanalysts.com; we will action verified requests within 30 days.
5. Related documents
Usage terms, data provenance, and compliance disclosures live in our Terms of Use. Questions about this policy: contact@siliconanalysts.com.
